If you are grieving the death of a spouse, child, parent, sibling, other family member, or friend, GriefShare can provide encouragement, comfort and help.

  • GriefShare is a support ministry for those who are grieving. Each session includes practical teaching, articles, and exercises to guide individuals as they respond to tough issues including anxiety, anger, loneliness, friends' insensitive remarks, and rebuilding a life without a loved one.
  • Many grieving people find they are only beginning the work of healing when friends or family have returned to their daily life routines.
  • Too often people tend to repress their grief instead of allowing it to do the work for which God intends.
  • This is an opportunity to be around people who understand what you are going through.
  • You will learn how to recognize the symptoms of being stuck in grief as well as valuable information to help renew your hope for the future.

GriefShare will be held Tuesday evenings starting August 29 in the church parlor at 7 pm. Each weekly session will last about 90 minutes and include a 30 minute video from GriefShare. The cost to attend the program is $15. If you have any questions, please feel free to call the facilitators, Diane McGregor at 440-263-9550 or Keith McGregor at 440-593-0677.  Or contact us at griefshare@bayumc.org.  To register, please call the church office at 440-871-2082 by August 22.
